about our veterinary practice

Rover Heights is your family-centric neighborhood pet care service.

We have been in Seminole Heights since 2013, and we take pride in hiring local staff who live, volunteer, and/or work in our community. Jenny and The Team are committed to the Rover Heights mission and will love your pets like their own.

Our Staff

Jenny

I am Jenny Rum. I love the big dogs and enjoy hanging out with all types of animals, even our feathered friends. In a past life, I was an aircraft mechanic, but I decided to pursue a different path, so I went back to school. After my studies in Education and Business at HCC, then I went on to study Interdisciplinary Social Science at USF. This is about the time, I decided to start Rover Heights llc, for the joy of running my own business and to be around my children more. It has been a wonderful decision & our passion is to treat each animal, like one of our family.

Danielle

I am Danielle Sweet and have been working with Jenny for three years this November. I taught high school for two decades. I own Jai Dee Yoga & Wellness in the Heights. Come get your stretch on with us.

Jeanne

Hello, my name is Jeanne Harvey and I am very excited to take care of your pets. I retired from the Corporate world and starting working at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay for seven years. I have several certifications from working there and am very comfortable taking care of your pets. I also work for Big Cat Rescue as a Volunteer. It is an amazing job to see the Beautiful Cats.

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. I was on many swim teams and made it to the WPIALL’s in Western Pennsylvania.

I have three college degrees. Mostly in Information Technology and Business Administration.

I am married with two dogs. A Belgium Malinois and a German Shepherd. Both girls. I also like to foster dogs and also little kittens (bottle babies).

Bridgette

I was born to pet all the animals! Since I was a young girl I’ve had a deep love of animals. I’ve grown up with cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters and fish and now have two rescue dogs of my own, Kyba and Slim.

Throughout the last 22 years I have walked dogs for friends and neighbors in busy urban areas or on rural trails. I’ve also done drop in play visits, fetch and a good back scratch never gets old! My skills are not limited to just dogs, I have experience with cats, birds and many other pets. I’m comfortable with young to old pets and pets with special needs as mine do. I’m professional yet fun and will care for your pet like my own.I was born to pet all the animals! Since I was a young girl I’ve had a deep love of animals. Victoria

Hi everyone my name is Victoria. I was lucky enough to have been raised with almost all walks of life, helping me develop a love for all animals. Currently I live with my 3 cats Ember, Tux and Baby. I treat all animals like I treat my family and friends, and I’m always excited to meet a new one. I’ve dealt with all kinds of dogs and I can confidently read their body language. I lived 4 years on a family farm, developing my life stock experience. I have experience with small animals, and plenty of aquatic animals as well!

Morgan

Hi, my name is Morgan and I’m 24. I am applying to a community college in the spring to become a veterinarian technician. I absolutely love animals as I grew up having dogs and birds myself. A few things I enjoy are taking care of pets, swimming with sharks and photography!
